かつて旧フランス大使館、明治神宮、すみだ水族館などで行ってきた空間インスタレーション、あるいは客席を演奏家が取り囲む「Timeless Lounge」で提示してきた、環境と響き合うリスニング体験。
「ディープ・リスニング」や「イマーシブ・オーディオ」という言葉が一般化する遥か前から、Sound Furnitureが追い求めてきたのは、上質な家具のように、そこにあるだけで時間と空間の質を静かに変えていく音楽でした。

Sound Furniture returns.
Beginning in 2009 from the idea of music as installation, Sound Furniture has explored sound not simply as performance, but as a way of tuning space, perception and presence itself.
From “Timeless Lounge” — where musicians surrounded the audience instead of separating stage and listener — to spatial installations at the former French Embassy in Tokyo, Sumida Aquarium, Meiji Jingu and public architectural spaces, these works have continuously explored subjective listening, environmental sound and deep spatial awareness.
Long before terms like “deep listening” or “immersive audio” became widespread, Sound Furniture was already searching for music that could exist like high-quality furniture: quietly transforming the quality of time and space simply through its presence.
Today, three foundational works return to streaming.
